Simply pop a bag in a pot of water and let it simmer for a few minutes and you'll have a fresh, hot pot of real Japanese dashi ready to eat!

Featuring the wonderful, umami-packed flavors of Kagoshima bonito flakes, dried sardines, grilled flying fish, mackerel, kombu kelp, and shiitake mushrooms, this incredible broth makes a wonderful base for many Japanese dishes. 

Instructions

Add 2 cups of water and 1 dashi packet to a pot, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, stir gently and simmer until the broth is as strong as you like it (typically 2-3 minutes)
